Preserving Jersey's
Aviation Heritage.

Meet the Duchess of Brittany — G-AORG, a 1956 de Havilland DH-114 Heron and the only one of her kind still in original configuration. Once the pride of Jersey Airlines, she rests today at Jersey Airport, awaiting her next chapter.

Coming Soon

We're exploring options from a static exhibit through to tours and runway taxi rides. We'd love to hear from you if you would like to be part of the journey.

A heritage worth keeping

One Heron. One island. One story.

Delivered to Jersey Airlines on 12 May 1956, G-AORG carried passengers between the Channel Islands, the British mainland and continental Europe at a time when short-haul flying was an event in itself. Today she is believed to be the last Heron in the world that remains in her original configuration — and she is home in Jersey at last.
